ELA Class:

In ela class I am reading the Hunger Games,we are currently on chapter 11.While reading the Hunger Games we are answering H.O.T questions which means higher order thinking questions.

In my class we are making a 3 song playlist about Katniss from the Hunger Games and we are doing a Hunger Games matching game.Also we are doing task cards about the Hunger Games in which we are to answer in complete sentences.

In ela class we are also doing two commonlits that are called "Total control over North Korea" and "Why teens find the end of the world so appealing."

We are also doing IReady for 45 minutes and we are doing the newselas that are called "Hunger Games salute now banned by Thailand's military leaders" and "The appeal of dystopian novels for teens."
